Our team will then take all the notes and asses the information gathered and we will email you the proposal and you can review and send over confirmation that everything looks great to sign the dotted line!
Meet the Team
CEO & FOUNDER
While Yara’s background is in the medical field the love for design led her to take the risk of building her dream job. Her experience in the event industry has created an opportunity to let her creativity develop through time creating trendsetting designs to follow for years to come. Her passion for event design comes from her childhood and she’s developed a reputation from the event industry of an executor and artist. When she’s not designing gorgeous wedding decor for others she is enjoying a nice run out at the lake and enjoying outdoor sports together with Gabriel and their two children Gabriel and Gisele.

Gabriel De La Cerda
As co owner of Unique Design & Events, he oversees our larger event productions as well as our week to week logistical support. Gabriel is also responsible for all of our custom ceiling draping installations.
When he isn’t working he and Yara enjoy spending time on the grill hosting friends and family as well as playing assistant coach for both children’s after school sports.

How far in advance should I reserve my date?
We happily accept reservations one year prior to your wedding. As the popular months tend to fill faster, we do recommend to reach out as soon as possible.
What is the process to schedule a meeting?
We recommend for you to reach out by phone, email or our inquiry form to schedule a meeting. Our first meeting with be done virtual via Zoom with additional meetings scheduled as needed.
How do I request an estimate?

How do I reserve my date?
Your date can be reserved by emailing or calling us with your estimate number to confirm your order. We will send over an invoice and contract to reserve your date.
What is required to reserve my date?
We do ask for a 25% non-refundable retainer along with a completed contract to reserve your date.
What is Pipe and Drape?
Pipe and Drape can be used for an exhibitor booth, stage backdrop or to cover walls. We carry different draping fabrics and colors to meet your needs. Check out our draping collection.
What is the process to request Ceiling Draping?
Ceiling Draping is a unique design for every venue and event. To request ceiling draping, please email us with your venue, venue contact and wedding date.
What additional information is needed for Ceiling Draping?
As our team has worked at many venues, there are still a few that we have yet to install Ceiling Draping in. For these new spaces and private tents, we will need a layout with the dimensions of the space along with the height to begin an estimate.
